Having a dog encourages frequent walks and playtime, which helps to cultivate an active lifestyle. This, in turn, improves cardiovascular health and assists in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight. Engaging in these regular activities with your furry friend not only boosts your physical health but also contributes positively to your overall well-being. I take my own dog out for morning runs so we both can stay in shape. German Shepherds are very active dogs and love to go on walks/runs frequently. She also enjoys going to the dog park to play with other dogs. Keeping my dog and I in shape will only give us longer, healthier lives.
